Inside a strip mall with Auto Zone and Panda Express towards the east side, by the car wash area. Excellent food and great prices. I'm your typical overweight eater but I usually don't finish their taco-gordita combo. My 20 year old also struggles with the nachos. Most combo plates are easily two meals worth Ann's probably over a day's worth of calories. And absolutely delicious.
Seriously, why do people in SoCal ever go to Taco Bell when there is such a plentiful selection of affordable Mexican food.

Came out to the Discovery Science Museum and decided to try this place out for lunch.

There is literally a taco place on every corner out there so it's tough to pick the right one.

Not much on the inside. 4-5 booths to sit. A lot of people were picking up things to go. Seemed like they had a steady crowd going.

Started off with the taquitos. 3 of them with huac for about 5 bucks. Not bad. Really meaty and crisp. It's not real guac but that sauce stuff. Still pretty decent though! 5/5

Had a cheese quesadilla for about 5 bucks too. Cheese and cooked perfectly with that crispness on the tortilla. Served with sour cream. A little small for the price but still good. 4/5

Next was a steak torta. Good flavor. Hearty size. But just seemed to be lacking something. Maybe more seasoning. 8 bucks for that. 4/5

The least favorite was the nachos. Good size but not your standard nachos. Lots of meat and salsa but the cheese is just sprinkled on top. If you're looking for those ooey gooey style backhoes, these aren't them. Those were about 8 bucks too.

If I'm back in the area I'd for sure try it out again!

I used to go here all the time. And Im all about supporting local businesses. But last week I found a fly in my chicken taco. I was so grossed out we ordered several things from there and we checked all of them and again there was another fly in our burrito. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Great affordable homemade food.  I felt like my Abuelita was cooking for me.  Plates are very generous.  Store owner was friendly, patient and courteous.

Restaurant is small with only 4 booths, but clean.

Really close to the Discovery Cube.  Will definitely be coming back with the kids!

This place is authentic as it gets and we love it! The owner was very nice and the cooks were friendly. We stopped by here after a long afternoon at the Discovery Science. The food was packed with flavor and I wished there was something like this back at home.
